Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown code block of the file frontend/captcha/ajaxresponse.php. PHP remote file inclusion vulnerability in the Gwolle Guestbook plugin before 1.5.4 for WordPress, when allow_url_include is enabled, allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary PHP code via a URL in the abspath parameter to frontend/captcha/ajaxresponse.php. NOTE: this can also be leveraged to include and execute arbitrary local files via directory traversal sequences regardless of whether allow_url_include is enabled.
The bug was discovered 11/04/2015. The weakness was presented 09/11/2017 as not defined posting (Bugtraq). It is possible to read the advisory at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2015-8351 since 11/25/2015. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
