Buffer overflow in hasplms in Gemalto ACC (Admin Control Center), all versions ranging from HASP SRM 2.10 to Sentinel LDK 7.50, allows remote attackers to shut down the remote process (a denial of service) via a language pack (ZIP file) with invalid HTML files.

The bug was discovered 01/26/2017. The weakness was presented 10/03/2017 (Website). The advisory is available at ics-cert.kaspersky.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2017-11498 since 07/20/2017. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation.
