A vulnerability has been found in GraphicsMagick 1.3.26 (Image Processing Software) and classified as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is the function ReadDCMImage of the file coders/dcm.c. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a null pointer dereference vulnerability. A NULL pointer dereference occurs when the application dereferences a pointer that it expects to be valid, but is NULL, typically causing a crash or exit. ReadDCMImage in coders/dcm.c in GraphicsMagick 1.3.26 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference) via a crafted DICOM image, related to the ability of DCM_ReadNonNativeImages to yield an image list with zero frames.
