A vulnerability has been found in LOYTEC LVIS-3ME up to 6.1.x and classified as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown function of the component Web User Interface. A Relative Path Traversal issue was discovered in LOYTEC LVIS-3ME versions prior to 6.2.0. The web user interface fails to prevent access to critical files that non administrative users should not have access to, which could allow an attacker to create or modify files or execute arbitrary code.
The bug was discovered 09/14/2017. The weakness was disclosed 10/05/2017 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at securityfocus.com.
