A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in GNU MPFR up to 3.1.2-p10. Affected is the function mpfr_strtofr of the file strtofr.c. The bug was discovered 12/08/2014. The weakness was presented 10/10/2017 by Vincent Lefevre (Website). The advisory is available at gmplib.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2014-9474 since 01/03/2015. The exploitability is told to be difficult. Local access is required to approach this attack.
