A vulnerability has been found in Lansweeper up to 6.0 and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown code block of the component XML Data Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a xml external entity reference vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-611. The product processes an XML document that can contain XML entities with URIs that resolve to documents outside of the intended sphere of control, causing the product to embed incorrect documents into its output. XML external entity (XXE) vulnerability in the import package functionality of the deployment module in Lansweeper before 6.0.100.67 allows remote authenticated users to obtain sensitive information, cause a denial of service, conduct server-side request forgery (SSRF) attacks, conduct internal port scans, or have unspecified other impact via an XML request, aka bug #572705.
