Various resources in Atlassian FishEye and Crucible before version 4.4.2 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary HTML or JavaScript via a cross site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the dialog parameter.
The bug was discovered 10/11/2017. The weakness was disclosed 10/11/2017 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2017-14588 since 09/19/2017. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication.
