A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Luracast Restler up to 3.0.0. This issue affects an unknown code of the file public/examples/resources/getsource.php. The manipulation of the argument file with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in public/examples/resources/getsource.php in Luracast Restler through 3.0.0, as used in the restler extension before 1.7.1 for TYPO3, allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via the file parameter.
