The codem-transcode module before 0.5.0 for Node.js, when ffprobe is enabled, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a POST request to /probe.
The bug was discovered 05/13/2014. The weakness was disclosed 10/23/2017 (oss-sec). The advisory is shared for download at openwall.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2013-7377 since 05/14/2014. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication.
