A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in Tapatalk Plugin up to 4.9.0/5.2.1 on vBulletin. Affected is an unknown code of the file unsubscribe_forum.php of the component XMLRPC API. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in the Tapatalk plugin 4.9.0 and earlier and 5.x through 5.2.1 for vBulletin allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via a crafted xmlrpc API request to (1) unsubscribe_forum.php or (2) unsubscribe_topic.php in mobiquo/functions/.
The bug was discovered 10/13/2014. The weakness was published 10/26/2017 by tintinweb as EDB-ID 35102 as confirmed exploit (Exploit-DB). The advisory is available at exploit-db.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2014-2023 since 02/19/2014. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely.
