A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Zoho ManageEngine Applications Manager 13 (Log Management Software). This issue affects an unknown functionality of the file manageApplications.do. The manipulation of the argument name with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. The bug was discovered 11/05/2017. The weakness was published 11/05/2017 (Website). The advisory is shared at exploit-db.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2017-16542 since 11/05/2017. The attack may be initiated remotely. The successful exploitation needs a simple authentication.
