A vulnerability, which was classified as very critical, has been found in Apple Safari 6.0 (Web Browser). Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the component WebKit. Multiple memory corruption issues existed in WebKit. These issues were addressed through improved memory handling.This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2013-1043 since 01/10/2013. It is assigned to the family Misc.. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 121756 (Apple iTunes Prior to 11.1.4 Multiple Vulnerabilities (HT6001)).
Upgrading to version 6.1 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
