A vulnerability has been found in libming up to 0.4.8 (Programming Tool Software) and classified as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is the function outputSWF_TEXT_RECORD of the file util/outputscript.c of the component SWF File Handler. The outputSWF_TEXT_RECORD function in util/outputscript.c in libming <= 0.4.8 is vulnerable to a NULL pointer dereference, which may allow attackers to cause a denial of service via a crafted swf file.
