The manipulation of the argument dir/content with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. LvyeCMS through 3.1 allows remote attackers to upload and execute arbitrary PHP code via directory traversal sequences in the dir parameter, in conjunction with PHP code in the content parameter, within a template Style add request to index.php.
