The weakness was presented 10/24/2013 by Zachary Pritchard with Cigital as confirmed mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is shared at seclists.org. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with CA. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2013-5968 since 10/01/2013. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are unknown but a private exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.
