A vulnerability was found in GraphicsMagick 1.3.26 (Image Processing Software) and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is the function WritePNMImage of the file coders/pnm.c. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-119. The product performs operations on a memory buffer, but it can read from or write to a memory location that is outside of the intended boundary of the buffer. WritePNMImage in coders/pnm.c in GraphicsMagick 1.3.26 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (bit_stream.c MagickBitStreamMSBWrite heap-based buffer overflow and application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted file.
