A vulnerability classified as critical was found in Kentico CMS 8.x/9.x/10.x/11.0 (Content Management System). This vulnerability affects some unknown functionality of the component SilentInstall XML Document Handler. The manipulation of the argument SqlName/SqlPswd/Database/UserName/Password as part of a XML Document leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-119. Kentico 9.0 through 11.0 has a stack-based buffer overflow via the SqlName, SqlPswd, Database, UserName, or Password field in a SilentInstall XML document. NOTE: the vendor disputes this issue because neither a buffer overflow nor a crash can be reproduced; also, reading XML documents is implemented exclusively with managed code within the Microsoft .NET Framework
