A vulnerability was found in PoDoFo 0.9.5 (Document Reader Software). It has been classified as problematic. In PoDoFo 0.9.5, there is an uncontrolled memory allocation in the PdfParser::ReadXRefSubsection function (base/PdfParser.cpp). Remote attackers could leverage this vulnerability to cause a denial-of-service via a crafted pdf file.
The bug was discovered 01/08/2018. The weakness was presented 01/08/2018 by Agostino Sarubbo (Website). The advisory is available at bugzilla.redhat.com.
