Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Adobe ColdFusion 9.0 before Update 12, 9.0.1 before Update 11, 9.0.2 before Update 6, and 10 before Update 12, when the CFIDE directory is available, allows remote authenticated users to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via unspecified vectors related to the logviewer directory.
The weakness was published 11/12/2013 by Bryan Adeloye with Tenable as Security update: Hotfix available for ColdFusion as confirmed advisory (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at adobe.com. The public release has been coordinated with Adobe. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2013-5326 since 08/20/2013. The attack can be launched remotely. A single authentication is needed for exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction.
