Aztech ADSL DSL5018EN (1T1R), DSL705E, and DSL705EU devices improperly manage sessions, which allows remote attackers to bypass authentication in opportunistic circumstances and execute arbitrary commands with administrator privileges by leveraging an existing web portal login.

The bug was discovered 09/14/2014. The weakness was disclosed 01/12/2018 by Eric Fajardo as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is available at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-6436 since 09/16/2014. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
