A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Moxa MXView up to 2.8 (Automation Software). Affected by this issue is an unknown part. An issue was discovered in Moxa MXview v2.8 and prior. The unquoted service path escalation vulnerability could allow an authorized user with file access to escalate privileges by inserting arbitrary code into the unquoted service path.
The bug was discovered 01/11/2018. The weakness was published 01/12/2018 by Karn Ganeshen (Website). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com.
