A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in ILIAS up to 5.2.3. Affected is the function displayHeader of the file setup/classes/class.ilSetupGUI.php of the component Setup. The manipulation of the argument cmd as part of a Parameter leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-79. ILIAS before 5.2.4 has XSS via the cmd parameter to the displayHeader function in setup/classes/class.ilSetupGUI.php in the Setup component.
