A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in Check Point Firewall-1 NG (Firewall Software) (version now known). This affects some unknown processing of the component SmartDefense. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a privileges management vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-269. The product does not properly assign, modify, track, or check privileges for an actor, creating an unintended sphere of control for that actor. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, and integrity.
