The IPv6 implementation in Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software 9.1.3 and earlier, when NAT64 or NAT66 is enabled, does not properly process NAT rules, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (device reload) via crafted packets, aka Bug ID CSCue34342.

The weakness was shared 11/11/2013 with Cisco as Cisco ASA IPv6 NAT Denial of Service Vulnerability as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared for download at tools.cisco.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2013-5560 since 08/22/2013. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
