cgi-bin/module//sysmanager/admin/SYSAdminUserDialog in Fortinet FortiAnalyzer before 5.0.5 does not properly validate the csrf_token parameter, which allows remote attackers to perform cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks.

The weakness was presented 11/12/2013 by William Costa as CSRF vulnerabilities in OS of fortianalyzer 5.0.4 as not defined mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is available at seclists.org. The vendor was not involved in the coordination of the public release. This vulnerability was named CVE-2013-6826 since 11/19/2013. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details and also a public exploit are known.

A public exploit has been developed by William Costa ([email protected]) and been published immediately after the advisory. It is possible to download the exploit at seclists.org. It is declared as proof-of-concept.
