Insufficient Policy Enforcement in Devtools remote debugging in Google Chrome prior to 62.0.3202.62 allowed a remote attacker to obtain access to remote debugging functionality via a crafted HTML page, aka a Referer leak.
The bug was discovered 10/17/2017. The weakness was disclosed 02/07/2018 by Kushal Arvind Shah (xisigr) with Fortinet's FortiGuard Labs (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2017-15393 since 10/17/2017. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely.
