An issue was discovered in Typesetter 5.1. The User Permissions page (aka Admin/Users) suffers from critical flaw of Cross Site Request forgery: using a forged HTTP request, a malicious user can lead a user to unknowingly create / delete or modify a user account due to the lack of an anti-CSRF token.

The bug was discovered 02/13/2018. The weakness was published 02/12/2018 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at securitywarrior9.blogspot.in. This vulnerability was named CVE-2018-6888 since 02/11/2018. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
