A vulnerability was found in Advantech WebAccess 8.3.0 (SCADA Software) and classified as critical. This issue affects the function VBWinExec in the library Node\AspVBObj.dll. The manipulation of the argument command as part of a Parameter leads to a os command injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-78. The VBWinExec function in Node\AspVBObj.dll in Advantech WebAccess 8.3.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands via a single argument (aka the command parameter).
