A vulnerability was found in Pinterest Clone Social Pinboard 2.0 on Joomla (Joomla Component). It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown code block. SQL Injection exists in the Pinterest Clone Social Pinboard 2.0 component for Joomla! via the pin_id or user_id parameter in a task=getlikeinfo action, the ends parameter in a view=gift action, the category parameter in a view=home action, the uid parameter in a view=pindisplay action, the searchVal parameter in a view=search action, or the uid parameter in a view=likes action.
The bug was discovered 02/16/2017. The weakness was shared 02/17/2018 as EDB-ID 44131 as not defined exploit (Exploit-DB). The advisory is shared for download at exploit-db.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2018-5987 since 01/22/2018. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely.
