A vulnerability classified as critical was found in mxGraph up to 3.7.5. Affected by this vulnerability is the function convert of the file mxGraphViewImageReader.java of the component SAXParserFactory. The manipulation as part of a XML Data leads to a xml external entity reference vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-611. In mxGraphViewImageReader.java in mxGraph before 3.7.6, the SAXParserFactory instance in convert() is missing flags to prevent XML External Entity (XXE) attacks, as demonstrated by /ServerView.
