A vulnerability was found in Foo Labs Xpdf 4.00 (Document Reader Software). It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects the function JPXStream::readTilePart of the file JPXStream.cc. An out-of-bounds read in JPXStream::readTilePart in JPXStream.cc in xpdf 4.00 allows attackers to launch denial of service via a specific pdf file, as demonstrated by pdftohtml.
