A vulnerability was found in Mitel Connect ONSITE up to R1711-PREM/14.2. It has been rated as critical. A vulnerability in the conferencing component of Mitel Connect ONSITE, versions R1711-PREM and earlier, and Mitel ST 14.2, release GA28 and earlier, could allow an unauthenticated attacker to inject PHP code using specially crafted requests to the vnewmeeting.php page. Successful exploit could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary PHP code within the context of the application.
The bug was discovered 03/06/2018. The weakness was released 03/14/2018 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at mitel.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2018-5780 since 01/18/2018. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available.
