A lack of cross-site request forgery (CSRF) protection vulnerability in Trend Micro Email Encryption Gateway 5.5 could allow an attacker to submit authenticated requests to a user browsing an attacker-controlled domain.

The bug was discovered 02/21/2018. The weakness was presented 03/15/2018 as EDB-ID 44166 as confirmed exploit (Exploit-DB). The advisory is shared for download at exploit-db.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2018-6224 since 01/25/2018. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
