A vulnerability was found in Acyba AcyMailing Extension up to 5.9.5 on Joomla (Joomla Component) and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown functionality of the component CSV Export. CSV Injection (aka Excel Macro Injection or Formula Injection) exists in the export feature in the Acyba AcyMailing extension before 5.9.6 for Joomla! via a value that is mishandled in a CSV export.
The bug was discovered 03/26/2018. The weakness was released 03/28/2018 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at vel.joomla.org. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2018-9107 since 03/27/2018. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
