A vulnerability was found in MySQL for PCF Tiles up to 1.7.9 (Database Software). It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown part of the component AWS Access Key. MySQL for PCF tiles 1.7.x before 1.7.10 were discovered to log the AWS access key in plaintext. These credentials were logged to the Service Backup component logs, and not the system log, thus were not exposed outside the Service Backup VM.
The bug was discovered 12/08/2016. The weakness was released 03/29/2018 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at pivotal.io. This vulnerability was named CVE-2016-0898 since 12/17/2015.
