The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 370851 (Apple macOS High Sierra 10.13.4, Security Update 2018-002 Sierra, and Security Update 2018-002 El Capitan Not Installed).
Applying a patch is able to eliminate this problem. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
