An issue was discovered in certain Apple products. iOS before 10.3.3 is affected. macOS before 10.12.6 is affected. tvOS before 10.2.2 is affected. The issue involves the "Wi-Fi" component. It allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code (on the Wi-Fi chip) or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) by leveraging proximity for 802.11.
The bug was discovered 07/12/2017. The weakness was presented 04/03/2018 by Guang Gong with Qihoo 360 (Website). The advisory is available at support.apple.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2017-7065 since 03/17/2017. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.
