A vulnerability was found in Brave Browser up to 0.12.x and classified as problematic. This issue affects the function alert of the component JavaScript Handler. Brave Browser before 0.13.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (resource consumption) via a long alert() argument in JavaScript code, because window dialogs are mishandled.
The bug was discovered 02/11/2017. The weakness was presented 04/04/2018 (Website). The advisory is shared at hackerone.com.
