The weakness was disclosed 12/19/2013 as not defined release notes (Website). The advisory is available at realvnc.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2013-6886 since 11/28/2013. Local access is required to approach this attack. The successful exploitation requires a single authentication. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit. This vulnerability is assigned to T1068 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
