A vulnerability was found in phpMyAdmin up to 4.8.0 (Database Administration Software). It has been rated as problematic. Affected by this issue is an unknown function of the file js/db_operations.js. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a cross-site request forgery vulnerability. phpMyAdmin 4.8.0 before 4.8.0-1 has CSRF, allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary SQL statements, related to js/db_operations.js, js/tbl_operations.js, libraries/classes/Operations.php, and sql.php.
The bug was discovered 04/20/2018. The weakness was published 04/19/2018 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at phpmyadmin.net.
