WSO2 Identity Server before 5.5.0 has XSS via the dashboard, allowing attacks by low-privileged attackers.
The bug was discovered 04/24/2018. The weakness was released 04/25/2018 as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2018-8716 since 03/14/2018. The attack can be launched remotely. A single authentication is needed for exploitation.
