IBM BigFix Platform 9.2 and 9.5 is vulnerable to cross-site scripting. This vulnerability allows users to embed arbitrary JavaScript code in the Web UI thus altering the intended functionality potentially leading to credentials disclosure within a trusted session. IBM X-Force ID: 140691.

The bug was discovered 04/24/2018. The weakness was presented 04/27/2018 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at exchange.xforce.ibmcloud.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2018-1473 since 12/13/2017. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
