A vulnerability has been found in Apple macOS 10.13.4 (Operating System) and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects some unknown functionality of the component Crash Reporter. The bug was discovered 04/24/2018. The weakness was presented 04/24/2018 by Ian Beer with Google Project Zero as HT208742 as confirmed security update (Website). The advisory is available at support.apple.com. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability was named CVE-2018-4206 since 01/02/2018. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim.
