A vulnerability was found in ProjectPier up to 0.8.8 (Project Management Software). It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown code block of the file public/patch/patch.php. The manipulation of the argument id as part of a Parameter leads to a sql injection vulnerability (SQL). PHP remote file inclusion vulnerability in public/patch/patch.php in Project Pier 0.8.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands or SQL statements via the id parameter.
The bug was discovered 05/13/2018. The weakness was presented 05/16/2018 as not defined mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is shared for download at seclists.org. This vulnerability was named CVE-2018-10759 since 05/06/2018. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely.
