In MuPDF 1.12.0 and earlier, multiple reachable assertions in the PDF parser allow an attacker to cause a denial of service (assert crash) via a crafted file.
The bug was discovered 01/24/2018. The weakness was shared 05/24/2018 as confirmed git commit (GIT Repository). The advisory is shared for download at git.ghostscript.com.
