A vulnerability was found in dylmomo on Node.js (JavaScript Library) (the affected version unknown) and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown part of the component URL Handler. The manipulation with the input value ../ leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. dylmomo is a simple file server. dylmomo is vulnerable to a directory traversal issue, giving an attacker access to the filesystem by placing "../" in the url.
