The bug was discovered 05/29/2018. The weakness was presented 06/06/2018 by Ivan Fratric with Google Project Zero as MFSA 2018-14 as confirmed security advisory (Website). The advisory is shared for download at mozilla.org. This vulnerability was named CVE-2018-6126 since 01/23/2018. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
