The bug was discovered 05/18/2018. The weakness was presented 06/11/2018 by Damian Poddebniak (Basti) as Bug 1450345 as confirmed bug report (Bugzilla). The advisory is shared for download at bugzilla.mozilla.org. This vulnerability was named CVE-2018-5185 since 01/03/2018. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim.
