A vulnerability has been found in PvPGN Stats 2.4.6 and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects some unknown processing of the file ladder/stats.php. The manipulation of the argument user_search as part of a Parameter leads to a sql injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-89. An issue was discovered in PvPGN Stats 2.4.6. SQL Injection exists in ladder/stats.php via the POST user_search parameter.
The bug was discovered 09/19/2017. The weakness was presented 06/12/2018 (Website). The advisory is available at rchase.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2017-18287 since 06/12/2018. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation.
