The review attachment resource in Atlassian Fisheye and Crucible before version 4.5.3 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary HTML or JavaScript via a cross site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in attached files.
The bug was discovered 02/02/2018. The weakness was published 07/10/2018 (Website). The advisory is shared at jira.atlassian.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2018-13388 since 07/06/2018. The attack may be initiated remotely. A simple authentication is necessary for exploitation.
